According to the Sheriff of Lake County a Driver Shot at a Truck Carrying 2 Adults and 2 Children Out of Wrath. According to Sgt. John J. Kelley, deputies were dispatched to the I-90 and SR-44 area on November 28 at 5:40 p.m. in response to an allegation that a truck had been fired at by the driver of another vehicle.
Deputies learned of the gunshot on I-90 west close to milepost 202 from the driver of a 2014 Nissan Titan pickup when they arrived, according to Kelley.

According to Kelley, this Nissan was in the left lane and came to a stop behind a silver Subaru that was also in the left lane. According to Kelley, the Subaru driver was allegedly traveling slowly and repeatedly slammed on the brakes.
According to Kelly, the Nissan then passed the Subaru by using the right lane. Both vehicles continued west, with the Subaru moving into the right lane and the Nissan into the left, according to Kelley.
According to Kelley, the driver of the Nissan indicated that the pickup’s front passenger and the driver of the suspected vehicle had verbal and physical exchanges.
At that point, the Subaru’s driver fired a shot at the pickup with an unidentified weapon, striking the right front fender just above the wheel well, according to Kelley.
According to Kelley, the pickup driver exited the freeway at SR-44 and dialed 911 while the suspect proceeded to go west on I-90.
The two adults and two young children in the pickup truck were unharmed in the shooting, according to Kelley. The Subaru’s make and license plate are unclear, according to Kelley.
