Chainsaw Man Chapter 119 Release Date

Chainsaw Man Chapter 119 Release Date: On Tuesday, January 31, 2023, at 7:00 AM PST, the 119th episode of Chainsaw Man will become available for streaming on Manga Plus and Viz Media. Previously, the publication of the chapter was anticipated to take place on January 24th, 2023.

Why Was Yoru Unable to Turn Denji Into a Weapon?

Some plausible explanations for why Asa could not make Denji into a weapon have been hinted at in earlier chapters, but they have yet to be fully explored. One reason is that Asa didn’t attempt to weaponize Denji herself. Yoru usually had the upper hand in battle, but Asa took charge when she fashioned the pair’s deadliest weapon yet from her mother’s outfit.

This may mean Asa has to be the one in order if Yoru attempts to turn someone or something she cares about into a weapon. Another explanation is that Yoru didn’t try to change Denji into Chainsaw Man by calling him such. Denji’s desire to be recognized as Chainsaw Man is made clear in the few chapters where he is the protagonist again. He went so far as to reveal his true identity to Asa, only for her to reject his claims and start an argument.

It’s possible that unless the War Devils discover Denji’s true identity, or at least agree that he was telling the truth previously, they won’t be able to alter him. At last, there’s a chance that Asa’s first impression of Denji was correct: he doesn’t care about her and doesn’t feel the same way about her as she does about him.

Denji has been revealed to have developed some self-awareness and more definite love goals since the beginning of the manga’s second half. This may indicate that, despite Asa’s advances, he is not entirely smitten with her and that he and Asa do not yet have the relationship required for Yoru’s powers to take effect.

We still don’t know which of these is the exemplary scenario or if another scenario is the answer altogether. This information has not yet been confirmed in the manga, and it is unlikely to do so for some time.

What Happened in Chapter 118 of the Manga?

Asa attempts to transform Denji into a weapon, but he laughs at her and says it’s a funny way for them to part ways with one other. Yoru starts to worry about what prevented Denji from becoming her weapon when she was trying to change him. Asa speculated that Denji did not transform into a gun because he did not care about her.

Yoru was worn out, so she wanted to go to bed. When Asa asked her about the Famine Devil, she passed out after telling Asa a bit about the devil. Yoru had wanted to go to bed since she was fatigued. After Yoru sleeps, Asa worries about why Denji doesn’t like her.

The following day, Denji conceived of an alternative strategy for the occasion. He told Asa they may watch the mummy movie in a nearby theatre until 2:00 AM for 2,000 Yen. Asa vetoes the idea by stating that she would instead go on a less expensive date. As a result, she decided to attend the movie date at the residence of Denji because he possesses a VCR. Denji also explains to her the unbreakable regulations he has set up for his home. He warns that those who disobey the rules will meet their deaths.

Chainsaw Man Chapter 119 Spoilers

Be warned that major spoilers are ahead for the upcoming “TBA” chapter of Chainsaw Man. The official chapter release has been delayed by one week while the manga is on hiatus this week. Just in case you’re curious, check out the plot twists below! At the beginning of this chapter, Asa inquires Denji about the rules of the house. Denji asks her to take off her shoes at the entrance, as is customary in Japan.

He then tells us to let everyone know we’ve arrived safely by declaring, “I am home.” And then, he goes into detail on how to properly sort garbage into its many containers. Denji cites combustibles, food scraps, shards of glass, and other items as this type of garbage. Asa cuts him off mid-explanation to tell him she already knows all about the rules. The two friends then go to a video store to select movies in Denji’s place for the evening.

You may remember from the last episode that Haruka has been closely following in the footsteps of Asa and Denji. Asa and Denji’s boisterous conversation from earlier chapters continues as they debate which movie to rent. Considering the frequent gunfire in action movies, Asa and Denji can’t see themselves sitting through one.

After that, Denji suggests a heist movie, but Asa is against it because stealing is wrong. Despite Asa’s clear disapproval, Denji goes to the adult section. Deni, however, selects a severe picture, leaving Asa with a pang of regret for having assumed the worst of him.

As Haruka goes off to the adult section of the store, they both agree that this film is excellent. Yoshida was there and randomly inquired about his plans. Then we see Yoshida go off on his own, having brought a VCR with a zombie video. The chapter ends with Asa and Denji being stopped by the police on their approach to his house. Has Denji’s former residence been demolished? Don’t forget to check back in a week, when we’ll add a summary and correct all the mistakes.
