Fairfax County Parkway Accident: Following a collision that took the life of another youngster in the Rock Spring neighborhood of Arlington County, a teen has been charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. The collision took place on Old Dominion Drive in Arlington near Williamsburg Boulevard at approximately 12:29 in the morning on Wednesday, according to the Arlington County Police.
The presence of an unoccupied automobile SUV that was on fire when first responders arrived at the scene required fire crews to put out the flames as quickly as possible.
A vehicle was also found at the scene with an unresponsive adolescent kid inside of it when the first responders arrived. It was determined at the scene that the kid, who had been driving the sedan, had passed away from their injuries.

The driver of the sedan was reportedly attempting to perform a U-turn on Old Dominion Drive at the time he was struck by the SUV. This is according to the findings of an initial inquiry. According to the findings of the investigation, the SUV was traveling at a rapid velocity at the time of the collision.
The driver of the SUV, who was identified as a juvenile boy in his teens and was brought into custody at the site, was also the subject of the investigation. Both Driving Under the Influence and Involuntary Manslaughter are charges that have been brought against him. The identities of the victim or the suspect have not been made public by the police at this time.
