The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office says a worried woman who was looking for her grandson found him dead in the worst way possible: at a grisly crime scene with two other dead bodies. The names of the victims and what killed them have not been made public.
At about 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, January 31, the bodies were found in an RV park in St. Cloud. Osceola County Sheriff Marcos Lopez said at a news conference that he thinks it was a murder-suicide. Lopez called the find “horrific” and said that the bodies needed to be identified by a medical examiner.
“We received a call from the grandmother of the victim, one of the victims, because she hadn’t heard from him. She goes inside the residence and finds her grandson deceased and calls the sheriff’s department,” Lopez said
“We respond and find two additional adults deceased in the residence,” he added. “We can’t reveal their identities at this time … because of the conditions of the bodies right now.”

He said that the killings may have taken place days before the body was found. The caller’s adult grandson, his mother, and his mother’s boyfriend, who moved in with them in August, are the three people. Lopez said that investigators think the boyfriend was the shooter.
No explanation has been given. Officials said there was no history of domestic violence at the home. The grandmother told the police that she talks to her grandson often, and she went to the house after her calls went unanswered.
“Grandmother is very upset and distraught … walking up in a scene like this,” Lopez said. “What can you expect, when you walk into a scene where you see your grandson dead on the floor.”
