According to the Maryland State Police, an early morning crash on I-95 in Prince George’s County that killed one person is being looked into. The dead person won’t be known until his or her family is told. On the scene, the person was said to be dead. The dead person’s body will be taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore so an autopsy can be done.
This morning, troopers from the College Park Barrack were called to a crash on southbound I-95 in Beltsville, just before Route 212. Based on what we know, a white Toyota Camry hit the back of a tractor-trailer. At the time of the accident, the tractor-trailer was broken down on the left shoulder.

Nico McClure, who is 27 years old and from North Carolina, is the one who drives the tractor-trailer. He wasn’t hurt, so he turned down medical help at the scene.
Troopers from the College Park Barrack and the Forestville Barrack, as well as people from the Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Division of the Maryland State Police, went to the scene. People from the State Highway Administration of the Maryland Department of Transportation are also there to help direct traffic. Lanes 1–4 are closed while the accident is being looked into and the crash site is cleaned up.
