Harrison Wagner, the son of Jack and Kristina Wagner, died, and the reason why has been found.

The 27-year-old died from an overdose of fentanyl and alprazolam, which is the generic name for Xanax. On Dec. 5, E! News looked at records from the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner. Officially, he died in an accident, and the place where he died was marked as a parking lot.

Police had already told E! News that Harrison’s body was found in a North Hollywood parking lot on June 6 and that he had died there. At the time, officials said they didn’t think his death was caused by foul play, but the cause of death was put off until more research was done.

Harrison was the youngest son of Jack and Kristina, who were both on the show General Hospital and got a divorce in 2006 after 13 years of marriage. They also have a 32-year-old son named Peter Wagner, and Jack has an adult daughter named Kerry, whose birth mother gave her up for adoption when she was a baby.

The cause of Harrison’s death was announced four days after his 28th birthday. On Dec. 5, Kristina paid a sad tribute to her mother “She tweeted a picture of herself and her “kind and loving” son smiling and wrote, “This picture was taken one year ago. The birthday went well. I can’t say how thankful I am that he was in my life.”

Kristina and Jack have set up a scholarship fund in honor of their late son since he died. The money raised will go to the Harrison Wagner Scholarship Fund. According to its website, the money will be used to “directly help young men pay their rent or a portion of their rent at New Life House, a sober living community in California, who could not otherwise afford their care.”

A description of the fund said, “Harrison was a bright, happy young man whose smile lit up any room he was in.” “He left behind a lot of family and friends who loved him very much.”

The note went on to say, “We are heartbroken that he lost his fight with addiction, and we hope that Harrison’s memory will live on through this scholarship, which will help young men who would not be able to afford help for their addiction otherwise get help.”
