Jeffrey Blane Powell, who is from Idaho Falls, was reportedly driving south in the northbound lanes of Interstate 15 when he collided with a young individual who was driving a GMC Sierra pickup truck close to milepost 140, as stated by the state police. Powell was driving a Chevrolet Silverado during the incident.
The adolescent was restrained by a seatbelt, and it was necessary to free them from the GMC before they could be sent to a hospital in the area by ground ambulance.

The Idaho State Police have not finished their investigation into the collision yet. Powell’s passing was confirmed as soon as possible. He was wearing his safety belt properly. He is survived by his wife Melanie, as well as his children Sloane and Si, both of whom he had with her.
