The Lewisville Police Department is looking into an accident that happened Thursday night, October 20, at the corner of FM 407 and N. Garden Ridge Drive. The accident killed one person.
People who saw it say that a motorcyclist was in the right lane. When traffic started to slow down at the intersection, he moved to the left lane and went through it. A pickup truck was turning left onto N. Garden Ridge Drive at that time. The motorcyclist hit the back of the truck with his bike.

The motorcyclist was taken to Medical City Lewisville by Lewisville paramedics, where he was pronounced dead.
The driver of the pickup truck stayed at the scene. Investigators are trying to figure out who had the green light and how fast both cars were going.
