Although there have been some challenges, such as Dead Silence, Magic, and Puppet Master, if we were to rank killer doll movies, the original Child’s Play will probably always come out on top. Most modern moviegoers would respond with Annabelle when asked to name a terrifying horror doll. This demonic Raggedy Ann doll is the centrepiece of James Wan’s Conjuring film series.
M3GAN will soon join the genre’s elite, so we’ve collected it all below whether you’re looking for information about its release date, trailer, cast, or plot.
What is the Plot of M3GAN?
According to the official overview, “M3GAN is a miracle of artificial intelligence, a lifelike doll designed to be a child’s best friend and a parent’s most dependable ally. As she transforms into a companion and teacher, playmate and protector for the child she is attached to, M3GAN can listen, watch, and learn. It was created by clever toy company roboticist Gemma (Allison Williams from Get Out).
“Gemma is confused and unprepared to be a parent when she unexpectedly takes in her eight-year-old orphaned niece Cady (Violet McGraw, The Haunting of Hill House). Gemma makes the unthinkable decision to pair her M3GAN prototype with Cady to solve both challenges under extreme work pressure.

M3GAN trailer: Is there a Trailer?
The scary trailer shows that “M3GAN,” or Megan, is a doll with artificial intelligence programmed to be a parent’s best friend and, more importantly, a child’s best friend. Gemma, who Allison Williams plays, is a brilliant roboticist, and she is the one who made it. She made it so that the doll could talk, move, hear, and learn to be a friend to her 8-year-old niece, and the decisions had consequences she couldn’t have imagined.
