FOX has picked up the famous cooking show MasterChef for a 13th season with Gordon Ramsay. The cooking competition show on reality TV started on July 27, 2010. Since then, the format has changed a few times, there have been new judges, and many different chefs have been on the show. Still, people watch it all over the world, and its popularity hasn’t gone away after 12 years. Luca Manfe, who won season 4, Jennifer Behm, a former Miss USA contestant who competed in season 2 and won, and Christine Ha, who won season 3 and was the first blind contestant to ever be on MasterChef, are all well-known chefs who have won over fans since MasterChef began.
The 12th season of MasterChef, which just ended, was a lot of fun for fans to watch. The season was about getting back on track, and it had All-Stars from the last 11 seasons. On the other hand, Aaron Sanchez and Joe Bastianich joined Gordon on the panel of judges. Christian Green, Dara Yu, and Michael Silverstein came out on top after weeks of tough competition. They did their best to wow the judges, the crowd, and the people watching at home. Gordon finally said that Dara was the winner. He said that this season was the most competitive in the history of MasterChef. So, the 20-year-old became MasterChef’s youngest winner, taking home the trophy and $250,000.

Have a peek at-
Fans of MasterChef season 12 liked how suspenseful and tough the competition was. But they can look forward to more of the same in the future, as FOX just announced that MasterChef will be back for the 13th season. This was right before the 12th season ended. The network told Deadline that 4.7 million people watch the cooking show across all platforms on average. The 13th season of MasterChef has already started looking for new contestants, now that the show has been renewed. This renewal is great news for Gordon as he continues to grow his FOX cooking shows.
It is said that Gordon is making several shows for FOX. These include shows like Next Level Chef, Food Stars, and Hell’s Kitchen which are both new and old. Next Level Chef already has a lucrative time slot after the Super Bowl for 2023. At the same time, Gordon’s production company, Studio Ramsay Global, and FOX are working together to make an extended universe with the famous chef. Rob Wade, who is in charge of FOX’s reality shows, recently said that there is room for more of Gordon’s shows on the network. He did say, “We’re probably going to space them out so they don’t feel like they’re on top of each other. The idea is to do them all year long as ABC does with The Bachelor.”
