Narco-Saints Season 1 Recap
Ingu was there while his father died from exhaustion at work. That’s the most important thing to remember. Many people resort to this practice due to a lack of viable alternate options. Those from working-class families have probably seen a parent depart and return after dark. Even Ingu, a man who seems to be a natural achiever, is susceptible to this trap. They tie the knot. They’re parents to two adorable little ones. Despite this, he spends his entire life working to support them rather than spending time with them.
This is a relatively awkward method of summarising the plot. You can’t deny its importance. On the other hand, it serves an essential purpose, as we gain insight into Ingu’s character by learning about his background and the various skills and attributes that will undoubtedly come in handy in the future, such as his mastery of judo, his proficiency as a mechanic, his ability to negotiate through tense situations, and his ingenuity. The most crucial thing is that we understand what motivates him right away. He worries about being unable to provide for his family as his father did.
Because of this, Ingu’s best buddy Eungsoo’s business proposal sounds appealing. Skate is a popular fish in Korea, but Eungsoo, a lifetime fisherman, suddenly discovered that Surinameans don’t eat it. Fish is cheap here, so Ingu and Eungsoo may stock up and sell it for a profit in Korea. Despite Eungsoo’s math ineptitude and Ingu’s devotion to appeasing his wife by regularly having his photo taken in a Korean church, this method has shown to be 100% reliable.
Kang In-Gu left South Korea in search of financial success and a relaxing lifestyle, but as a businessman, he was subjected to a series of ordeals that no one could have foreseen. Although participating in a covert operation with the NIS was undoubtedly no small feat, Kang still intended to make some money from it. However, not only did he not receive the promised payment, but the NIS refused to certify his participation in any covert activities.
Kang had longed to see his loved ones while he was in Suriname, and he worried that something terrible would happen to him as it did to his friend Eungsoo. Although Kang had his own family to provide for, he also ensured that some of his money went to support Eungsoo’s loved ones. Kang values his time with his family above everything else, and he would not give up the chance to watch his children grow up for all the money in the world.
