Renton Landing Shooting; The Renton Police Department reports that two individuals are dead following a shooting that occurred at The Landing in Renton on Monday afternoon.
Officers responded to a report of shots fired outside the Regal Cinemas at 2:39 p.m. When the police arrived, they discovered two dead guys.
The incident may have been a homicide/suicide; witnesses told the police. According to eyewitness testimonies, the first man grabbed a revolver, shot the second man many times, and then quickly fled, according to Detective Robert Onishi.

Both were declared dead at the scene after he shot himself. A witness told KIRO 7 that when the rounds were fired, people were seen fleeing the area.
Initial terror was palpable. Nobody is aware of what is happening, stated Patrick Ward. “Ladies were yelling, telling everybody to run because there was an active shooter,”
The two guys involved were known to one another, and police believed this was a targeted incident. Now, police feel there is no more threat to the public.
The Renton Police Department asks anyone who saw the event to call and mention case number 22-12389.
