    The following is a Press Release from the Centers for Medicare and Medicid.

    Trump Administration Takes Action to Abide by the Law and Constitution, Discontinue CSR Payments

    U.S. Health and Human Services Acting Secretary Eric Hargan and Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services Administrator Seema Verma released the following statement announcing that cost-sharing reductions payments will be discontinued immediately based on a legal opinion from the Attorney General:

    “Today’s announcement represents an important step in providing Americans with more affordable health insurance coverage options by offering relief from Obamacare’s oppressive mandates and regulations that are driving up costs and driving down the quality of their healthcare. This Executive Order will promote affordable coverage options for Americans, whether they work for small businesses, large employers, or need to purchase coverage on their own. It will empower employers to offer more affordable health coverage and to provide their employees with the opportunity to exercise greater choice and control over their healthcare.”



    Starting November 1, you can log in to, fill out an application, and enroll in a 2018 Marketplace health plan. Enroll by December 15, 2017 and coverage starts January 1, 2018. 2018 plans and prices will be available to preview shortly before November 1.
