Strike Series 5: After premiering on the BBC in August 2020, Strike: Lethal White is now on HBO in the United States. This is the latest movie based on a book by Robert Galbraith, also known as J.K. Rowling. Some fans worry, though, that this could be the last season of the show. Here’s everything you need to know about what will happen next in the crime drama.
When will Strike Return?
The strike will be back later this year with its fifth season. The popular detective Cormoran Strike and his partner Robin Ellacott will be back soon, according to BBC One.
A representative said, “It hasn’t been confirmed yet, but it’s likely to air on BBC One before the end of the year.” So close that we can always taste it! What book does Strike 5 come from?
Strike Series 5 Plot
Cormoran Strike is with his family in Cornwall when a woman comes up to him and asks for help. She wants to find her mother, Margot Bamborough, who disappeared in 1974 for no clear reason. The strike has never worked on a cold case, much less on one that is 40 years old.
But even though the chances of success are low, he is interested and takes on the case. He and his partner at the detective agency, Robin Ellacott, are already working on a long list of cases. Robin is also going through a messy divorce and getting unwanted attention from men. She is also struggling with how she feels about Strike.
As Strike and Robin look into what happened to Margot, they find a very complicated case with a psychopathic serial killer and witnesses who can’t all be trusted. They find out that cases from decades ago can still end in death.
