The Midnight Club is the newest thriller show on Netflix. It was created by Mike Flanagan, who also made The Haunting of Bly Manor and The Haunting of Hill House.
The Midnight Club is about a group of young adults who are all dying and live together in a hospice. At midnight, they get together to tell each other stories. One night, they agree that whoever dies first must come back from the dead and talk to the others. When one of them dies, strange things start to happen at the hospice.
Even though the series just came out at the end of last week (7th October), fans have already watched all 10 episodes and want to know if there will be a second season. We know all of this about a possible second season of The Midnight Club.
The Midnight Club Season 2 Release Date Rumours
At the moment, The Midnight Club hasn’t been picked up for a second season, so there is no confirmed date for when season 2 will come out. Most of the time, Netflix waits a month or two after the first season comes out before deciding whether or not to make a second season. This means that it’s likely that we’ll know if the TV show will continue by December 2022.
“This was meant to be an ongoing series,” co-creator Mike Flanagan said at a press conference that Teen Vogue attended. I’m not sure if it will or not. We’ll see how things go, but this was definitely meant to go on. Pike has written 80 books, so we have a lot of great stuff to choose from.
The first season of The Midnight Club took about 18 months to make, from the time production began until it came out. This means that if a new season is confirmed by the end of the year and production starts in early 2023, we can expect a second season of The Midnight Club by the middle of 2024.
What Could Happen in Midnight Club Season 2?
The last episode of season one of The Midnight Club didn’t answer a lot of questions. Since it was found out that Sandra didn’t have cancer, will she come back? What does it mean that Georgina has a tattoo on her head? Will Shasta ever get out of jail? And do the scary shadow and old lady really exist? We hope that a second season will answer these questions and move the stories of the other characters forward.

Who Might Be in the Midnight Club Season 2?
We don’t know who would be in season two of The Midnight Club because it hasn’t been confirmed yet. But since Anya died, it’s not likely that Ruth Codd will come back. But she could come back as a ghost or in flashbacks. If there is a second season, Ilonka (Iman Benson), Kevin (Igby Rigney), Sandra (Annarah Cymone), Spencer (Chris Sumpter), Cheri (Adia), Natsuki (Aya Furukawa), and Amesh could all come back. But because the characters are teenagers who are dying, it’s possible that some of the cast will leave the show.
