“This school district goes to great lengths to promote the values of restraint and respect, as well as using social media responsibly,” a district spokesperson wrote. “We ask that parents reinforce these principles at home.”
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue officials said the incident occurred at approximately 4:10 p.m. Wednesday at 24400 SW 124th Ave. in the city of Homestead. in the vicinity of Miami, which is located about 40 miles southwest of Miami. The two injured children were evaluated by first responders before being returned to their respective parents.
