There were new reports about the supposedly “toxic” relationship that Gigi and Zayn had before they broke up. A friend of Zayn told People, “It was a super toxic relationship.” A source close to the singer told the same outlet, “Zayn’s an amazing dad, and Gigi has said so. They are not fighting.” The source also said that the former couple is “actively and amicably working to find the best way to co-parent. Yolanda is putting herself into a situation that doesn’t involve her.”
In a statement to People, a friend of Gigi’s family said, “Zayn has a complicated personality,” which makes it “hard for Gigi to live with him at times.” Another source told Us that things are “much better” now that Gigi and Zayn are no longer together and that they had a “very destructive relationship when they were together.”
