An investigation into a car crash outside of Helena, Montana, led to an encounter with a violent organization known only as “The Syndicate.” This mystery leads to the deaths of Wolf Legarski and Scarlet Leyendecker, who take their daughter Phoebe to live with relatives in Canada while they investigate. Significant plot developments include Ren and Alicia perhaps working uncomfortably, Jag killing his father and going away, Beau Arlen being the new sheriff, the chance that Kate is still alive and Travis getting out of jail to go hunt for her.
Even while all those plots will probably continue in some form, we also know that Reba McEntire’s new character and the suspicious history of her family business will be featured in the upcoming season.

When Will Big Sky Season 3 Premiere on ABC?
We won’t have to wait too long for the show to start. It will be shown for the first time on September 21. Even though the night has changed, the episode will still air at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
The name of the new season has changed. The name of the game is Big Sky: Deadly Trails. Since this isn’t the name of one of C.J. Box’s Cassie Dewell books, it’s hard to say what the plot might be. But we do know that Reba McEntire will be a part of the show, and it was she who read the promo. Does this mean that Jenny and Cassie should go after her as the bad guy?
We can also see Jensen Ackles back in action in the trailer. In the last episode of Season 2, his character Beau was introduced as the acting sheriff. He was then made a regular on the show. We’ll see him for the whole season.

Rumors About the Big Sky Season 3 Cast
It’s safe to assume that Kathryn Winnick and Kylie Bunbury will return for season 3 of Big Sky as Jenny Hoyt and Cassie Dewell, respectively. In season 3, Jensen Ackles will continue to play his role as Sheriff Beau. We also know that Reba McEntire will be playing Sunny Brick, the matriarch of the Brick family, marking the debut of a new cast member.
They’ll be joined by Jamie-Lynn Sigler, who’ll reprise her role as Tonya Walsh, and Dedee Pfeiffer, who’ll reprise her role as Denise Brisbane. We anticipate cameos from Logan Marshall-Green (Travis), Omar Metwally (Mark), and Zoe Noelle Baker (Phoebe), a young actor.
