Chris Stirewalt, former Fox News political editor, who was fired for calling Arizona for the then Presidential candidate Joe Biden reacted sharply to the final report from the Arizona election audit that confirmed the defeat of the former President Donald Trump.
The final report was produced by Cyber Ninjas, a company hired by the Arizona Senate Republicans. The report clearly shows that Biden won the 2020 Presidential Elections which puts an end to Trump’s claim of fraud. The votes fail to show Stolen Election.
In the interview with CNN, the host mentioned what Stirewalt had said about his experience in January to LA Times.
“When I defeated the call for Biden in the Arizona election, I became the target of murderous rage from consumers who were furious at not having their views confirmed.”
He was asked if he had received any apologies or what was the criticism for and wiwhat is going on in the states and how is that connected to what has happened in Arizona now.
Stirewalt explained the report and expresses his opinions on the situation.
“I have sincere sympathy for people who were duped there are some people really believe this stuff. I don’t know what Donald Trump believes but I think he knows he lost”
He believes that the fact that thousands of people in the US believe this is a crisis and that has to be dealt with. He further says, “I have only disdained for the people who continue to promulgate this”.
Stirewalt explains that whatever Trumps supporters do in Texas, where he won, the truth of the matter is that he lost. “It doesn’t matter what he finds, he will claim fraud anyway. He will say there was fraud even if the findings say there wasn’t.”
The only thing that was being done was undermining the voter confidence in the process of it all.
Stirewalt emphasizes on the fact that action must be taken against these bizarre claims.“We have direct assault on the legitimacy of our elections. It is a problem and you cannot placate your way out of this republican party”
