Police in Florida say an 11-month-old baby d!ed after being left in a car in the sun for several hours as his co-pastors attended a service at their church. The youngster, whose birthday was this week, was found unresponsive in the car around 1 p.m. on Sunday when the parents were inside the Mount of Olives Evangelical Church in Palm Bay.

The church’s website states that the morning services start at 10:15. In a statement provided by the department, Palm Bay Police Chief Mario Augello expressed his “condolences and prayers” to the family.
