King of the Hill Reboot Release Date
King of the Hill Reboot Release Date: To react to this news, Hank may either chuckle or throw up. On Tuesday, Hulu confirmed that they had ordered a new season of the popular cartoon series King of the Hill. 20th Television Animation’s new series will have its original creators, Mike Judge and Greg Daniels, and new executive producer and showrunner Saladin Patterson.
Many original voice actors are returning, including Judge, Kathy Najimy, Stephen Root, Pamela Adlon, Johnny Hardwick, and Lauren Tom. Technically, a new season of the animated comedy has developed since Judge and Daniels reunited with the rest of the cast at the 2017 San Francisco Sketchfest to mark the show’s 20th anniversary. Still, it had no home to air until now.
The award-winning series ran on FOX for 13 seasons, from 1997 to 2009. Hank Hill (Judge), an enthusiastic seller of propane and propane accessories, his wife Peggy (Najimy), the local Boggle champion and substitute teacher, and their 13-year-old son Bobby (Adlon), who defies any expectation his father had of a son populated the show, which was set in the made-up town of Arlen, Texas.

Peggy’s friends Minh (Tom) and meteorologist Nancy (Ashley Gardner) and Bobby’s buddy Connie (Tom) all lend a hand as the Hills adapt to a new environment, as do Hank’s buddies, conspiracy theorist Dale (Hardwick), military barber Bill (Root), and relaxed but inarticulate Boomhauer (Judge).
Executive vice president of 20th Television Animation Marci Proietto has stated that the new episodes will take place in Arlen in 2023 but provided no further details. “I feel fortunate to have been involved with the program from the beginning. I look forward to returning to Arlen, Texas, with Mike, Greg, and Saladin, who offer a fresh take on the classic series.
We owe a debt of gratitude to the fans for their unwavering enthusiasm, which has made this new version possible, and I can’t wait to show you what America looks like in the year 2023. To paraphrase the late, great Peggy Hill: “Ho yeah!” According to a statement provided by Proietto to EW. The show’s executive producers include Michael Rotenberg and Howard Klein of 3 Arts, Dustin Davis of Bandera Entertainment, and others to be announced. Its anticipated release date has not yet been disclosed.
