Young Justice might be the program that most often violated expectations in television history. The DC cartoon series, which was first created in 2010 for Cartoon Network, went for two trendy seasons before being canceled due to weak toy sales (which ultimately resulted in funding for the show being pulled).
The show’s first two seasons were made available to stream, but it gained enormous popularity after that and found new life on Netflix. As a result, a massive fan effort to save the show was launched, with the hashtag “KeepBingeingYJ” trending frequently on Twitter.
In the end, the campaign was effective because the program was renewed for the brand-new DC Universe streaming service. The show was renewed for a fourth season, which would stream on HBO Max once DC Universe exited the streaming scene. And indeed, that is what took place. But why did that fourth season end up being the final one?

Why Young Justice Season 5 Won’t Be Produced? What’s Going Wrong in it?
Young Justice’s initial cancellation was due to a factor unrelated to its performance (which, for Cartoon Network, was very strong), and it looks like its second termination will suffer from a similar problem.
Even though the show’s third season was popular enough to merit a renewal for season 4, the revival was just for one season, as produced by HBO Max. Unfortunately, the streamer decided not to renew it for another.
Many HBO Max television programs and films that were in the works or already in production were canceled after Warner Bros. and Discovery merged. Although Young Justice wasn’t on the streamer’s cancellation list, it was later made clear that the show would not be renewed for a fifth season, putting its second run to a quiet and unsatisfying end.
Young Justice is unquestionably a show that can make a comeback, and there is no reason to believe that HBO Max and Warner Bros. Discovery’s upper management won’t change their minds in the future. Young Justice: Phantoms, however, was the program’s last episode for the time being.
